Meet the Candidates Becoming a Candidate Serving as an Officer

I am Lisl Krieger and I am excited to announce my candidacy to continue my position of Director of Communications. Since Beltaine, I have been working with my assistant to revamp the website and our goal to have it up and running before the Samhain festival. I have also been expanding on the usage of the web social sites. As a result, we can now be found on Twitter, Myspace, Facebook, LiveJournal, and Covenspace as well as WitchVox. I am also researching other sites to expand our visibility.
I have been a member of CMA for over ten years, during which time I have served as an Area Representative and as Lead Area Representative. I have served as a Guardian for approximately eight years in the roles of Guardian and Senior Guardian. I have served for the past five festivals as a Co-Chief Guardian. I have also served on both the Grievance Committee and the Hospitality Committee. These roles have provided me extensive experience in membership relations, communications skills, conflict resolution, emergency procedures and management experience. In my mundane work life I have ten years of experience in retail management, including facility operations, communications, conflict resolution and leadership. I also have more than three years of experience in quality assurance which has taught me to be very thorough in my work and it helps me to appreciate the impact of my decisions.
As continuing in my roll as Director of Communications, I will focus on specific items.
- Continue to expand our social networking to increase our exposure and attract new members.
- I want to see CMA continue to grow both physically and spiritually.
- Bringing back the Accord and see it flourish.
