GREEN TECH
The new CMA environmental group to be organized at Beltane 2010.
Purpose:
The research, design and teach green building methods, sources and projects.
Goal 1:
Is to come up with easy to build and put together projects that can be built inexpensively by any do it yourself-er for use at home or campsites. These can range from electric, water purification, water heating, cooking with the sun, what ever the imagination can come up with.
Goal 2 is environmentally friendly building methods, products and project for both home and
camp.
Goal 3 is to use the above goals, expand to CMA land projects.
Goal 4 is to develop programs we may teach or show at the land or events around the state that relate to our goal.
Goal 5 is a subset group and will deal with plant research and management at Spirit Haven including composting, vermiculture ,to what ever the group decides.
Look for the workshop at the Beltane event to participate and be part of organizing a new group within CMA. The charter participants will be the ones to determine how the group is organized and operated.
