The board of Directors is pleased to announce:
Spiral Dance will be appearing at Beltane 2008. This is Spiral Dance second visit to the US and to a CMA Festival and the first in their new tour. CMA was instrumental in their first visit to the US, thanks to our hardworking Laynie working with Spiral Dance to process myriad of Visa requirements for the tour.
CMA was featured in one of Spiral Dance CD "The Quickening" and provided live recordings of the CMA show for our members. Intoxicating guitar riffs, evocative fiddle and groovy accordion lines, bass and dynamic percussion, all carefully arranged to blend acoustic folk-rock with lush Celtic harmony. http://www.spiraldance.com.au.
Lisa Thiel another of CMA's favorite featured artists will also be appearing at Beltane 2008. Lisa returns to provide us withe her wonderful acoustic healing prayers and chants that are not to be missed. http://www.sacreddream.com
Diamonds and Rust a Texas based Duo will appear in their CMA Debut ! Wyrdgirl Dana Davis and Dreamtrybe's Lynda Millard take you back to the beginning. Before Blacksheep and Velvet Hammer, this fire and ice duo wowed Houston with two club residencies.
Nighthawk from Velvet Hammer/Dreamtrybe, The Raft and Phoenixphyre Phamily will be attending and teaching drumming workshops. Nighthawk's teaching philosophy is to bring fun and magick to drumming. This is a must attend workshop !
Bryan Lankford Author of Wicca Demystified: A Guide for Practitioners, Family and Friends, teacher and Magician will be attending with a magick show and workshop.
