Subject: Area Announcement Change Explanation and Information
Greetings;
Members of CMA, in the designated area, have requested an area per our bylaws hereto to be known as Central Texas. The area has been designated by inclusion of the counties of Texas of which is is comprised. Likewise the current areas have been designated by a grouping of counties whereas no designation previously existed.
What does this mean to you as a member? You can now determine what area you belong to simply by the county in which you reside. If you live in the new Central Texas area, you now have an area other then Outlands.
Why were the areas defined? Previously there was no official designation of what comprised and area other then what was defined in our bylaws. This gives an easy way to determine an area eliminating confusion.
How was this method created? In review of area designation, Texas has a body called the Regional Councils that have already defined areas very similar to ours. This method was adopted as it both seemed to be in the spirit of our areas and was a defined system.
This is a list of Counties that comprise each area. If your county is not listed, you are in Outlands:
