IO Pan Jam 2010
Contact: contact@iopanjam.com
Website: www.iopanjam.com
Date: May 28th – May 30th 2010
Where: Spirit Haven Fayette County, Texas (between Smithville and Flatonia)
Do what thou wilt shall be whole of the law.
A great Texas tradition is being revived for 2010. Come join us May 28 – May 30, 2010 as we celebrate the diversity of those that live their lives according to the law of Thelema.
What is Thelema? Thelema is an esoteric and magickal path whose mission is to make one realize one's true purpose in life...”Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law”. Aleister Crowley developed the belief system after a series of experiences in 1904. This system includes ideas from occultisim, yoga, and both Eastern and Western mysticism. Despite the frequent assumption that "Do what thou Wilt" is solely an exhortation to hedonism or licentiousness, Thelema as it was formulated by Crowley is a path of spiritual development based on seeking and putting into practice one's True Will, or destiny, the soul's Will rather than the ego's desires.
IO Pan Jam welcomes all individuals that walk the path of their True Will. Whether you are a member of a Thelemic organization, identify yourself as a Thelemite or just curious about what Thelema might bring to your life, we encourage you to attend this celebration of the Law of Thelema. IO Pan Jam is a place to build and strengthen the bonds of universal brotherhood through the joys of Thelema.
We are committed to making this festival enjoyable not only for Thelemites, but for everyone, no matter their personal spiritual path. It is a Thelemic festival, but the concepts within Thelema are universal, and therefore run concurrent to a wide diversity of spiritual paths. There will be Joy and Beauty for all who attend.
Love is the Law. Love under Will.
IO Pan Jam is an adult (18+), clothing optional festival held at "Spirit Haven". This is a Pagan festival ground located in Fayette County, Texas (between Smithville and Flatonia). More information on the location can be found at: www.magickal-arts.org. The festival grounds offer a shower facility, many campsites, area for vendors, areas suitable for private rituals, a stage, and many other great features.
“The Night of Pan” will be a primitive festival experience featuring revel fires, drumming, dancing, workshops, feasting, and all around joyous revelry...
Guest Speakers:
Lon Milo Duquette, famed international author and occultist will present workshops on the Tarot and the Goetia.
Frater Oz will be performing the "Regulift" ritual on individuals, by appointment, on Saturday night. Liber V 1/2 vel Regulift is an adaptation of Liber V vel Reguli. The main difference between the two is that rather than the magician performing Liber V individually, three magicians perform it ON them. It provides a way for the candidate to get the benefit of the ritual, without actually performing it on their own. This disconnection from the mental aspect of performance can be quite powerful. Since this ritual is performed on candidates one at a time, in a manner more resembling an initiation of sorts than a group ritual, we will only be able to offer a limited number of performances. Candidates for the Regulift ritual should be able to perform banishing rituals on their own, as the effects of this ritual invoke the "93 Current" onto the individual, and can be quite palpable. Please contact us for an appointment if you would like to be considered for the ceremony.
Additional speakers will be announced. Please check the website for details.

The Opening Ritual: A dramatic ritual, including an invocation of Pan that will kick off the first night's Revel-Fire.

Festival Organizers
This festival is brought to you by the "Lords of Thebes" event planning group, a newly formed group specially created for this purpose. Special thanks goes out to "Horus of Two Horizons", who previously brought this festival to the Thelemic community, for allowing L.O.T. to continue this Texas tradition.
