CAMPING & THE
LAND
1. When is the next event?
You can find event dates listed on our Festival page.
2. Where is
the land?
It is in Fayette County, between Smithville and Flatonia.
Details about the land available here.
3. What do I
need to take to an event?
Information is available in the article written by Bran

Festival". We have also added a small camping
checklist to give you an idea of what the average
camper takes to an event.
4. Can I bring
my kids to an event?
Children are welcome at events provided that they are attended
by legal guardians. There are activites for kids of all
ages, from small children to teens. Tickets must be purchased
for the child if they are to attend.
5. Are the events

There are regularly scheduled work weekends in which volunteers
come and camp on the land and working on clearing camping
areas, building facilities and much more. If you would like
to come to the land between festivals, please volunteer
for one of those weekends. For more information about volunteering
for Work Weekends, read the guide and Contact the Land Administration Team Leader, at Land Administrator.
This person will provide you with the details, rules and
times for working on the land.
SOCIETIES
1. How do I join a society?
Attend a meeting at one of our festivals and/or join one
of their discussion lists. At one point, CMA had a comprehensive
list of societies. Once those discussion lists moved to
Yahoogroups, it became more difficult to locate all society
leaders and their information. We are working on tracking
down society info for members. At the moment, the best way
to reach them is to join
CMA's Village discussion list and ask there, ask
an Area Rep, or attend
a festival.
2. How do
I create a society?
If a society does not exist that you wish to create, simply
notify your Area Rep to verify that society does not exist.
Then create your discussion list using Yahoogroups. Please
read our page on Societies for more information.
FINANCE
1. Where do I make a donation
to CMA? Is it tax deductible?
The specifics regarding that are found on
this page.
2. Where is
CMA's financial information?
Contact the Director of Finance for that information
.
3. What do I
do if I want to volunteer?
Please contact your area rep and let them know. They will let you know what is available
and point you in the direction you need to go.
